VIVO MOBILE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED ("we" or "us"), as an authorized distributor of vivo, is the provider of E-Store (the "Service") and the organization responsible for the personal data processed with respect to the Service.

We care about your privacy and think it is important that you know why and how we process your personal data. In these Privacy Terms for E-Store (the "Terms"), we therefore cover the following content:

1. Collection and Processing: the type of data, for what purpose it is processed, and the legal basis for data processing;

These Terms are accessible on the Service, excluding maintenance periods, by clicking on the tab entitled "Privacy Terms for E-Store" at the bottom of the Service’s internet pages.

You are not obliged to consent to the processing of your data with respect to the Service, but please be aware of the following: IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OR IF YOU WITHDRAW YOUR CONSENT, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE SERVICE.

What data we collect:

a. Contact information: name, phone number, email address and delivery address

b. Account data: openid 

c. Order data: order number, order status, ordered product, order amount

d. Payment data: payment status, payment time, and other information necessary for your payment

e. Delivery data: delivery number, delivery status

Purpose:

The purposes of processing these data roughly include:

a. Order: to ensure that you have made an order, ensure that the product you ordered is appropriate and to record your order.

b. Delivery: to deliver your order items to the right place, contact you during this period, record your order information in order to display the courier progress and manage such information

c. Payment: to ensure your payment is successful and create order number

d. Identification: To verify your identity when you order discounted products through Company Purchase Service;

e. Others: Response to inquiries, or other requests, etc; Exercise of rights or performance of obligations under agreements, laws, and the like; Other purposes based on your prior consent.

Cookie:

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. Cookie store information that is related to the specific terminal device used. This does not mean, however, that we obtain immediate knowledge of your identity. The content of a cookie can be retrieved and read only by the server that created the cookie.

We will do our best to avoid collecting information (such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, GPS coordinates or other precise locations, etc.) that could be used on its own to directly identify, contact or precisely locate an individual through cookies or similar technologies. However, we normally need to collect pseudonymous end user identifiers (such as pseudonymous cookie IDs, pseudonymous advertising IDs, etc.), IP addresses, and other basic information about devices/browsers.

We use, without limitation, Google Analytics ("GA"), Contentsquare ("CS"), and similar Analytic/Performance Cookies to recognize and count visitors and visitor sources and to see how visitors navigate through our website and other service offerings, such as to see which pages you visit most, so as to help us improve the way our website and other service offerings work. Legal Basis:

We process the data for the above purposes upon your consent to these Terms. However, other legal bases may be applicable in the absence of your express consent as may be permitted by applicable laws. We may process your data where such processing is within our legitimate interests, where such processing is necessary for us to carry out our obligations under our contract with you, or where such processing is necessary for us to carry out our legal obligations.

Security:

We care about protecting your personal data. We have put in place appropriate security measures, including but not limited to encryption and anonymization techniques, which are designed to protect your personal data from unauthorized use, damage, or loss. We will do our best to protect your personal data. If you suspect any unauthorized use, damage, or loss of your personal data, please let us know immediately using the contact details set out below.

Period:

We will retain your personal data for the period necessary for the above purposes of processing, or as required by you or applicable laws. Once the retention period expires, we will delete or anonymise your personal data, unless otherwise required by applicable laws and regulations.

Location:

To provide the same level of data protection as that of the user's country/region and respond to users' requests more efficiently, the location where data is stored varies for users in different countries/regions. Your personal data will be stored in India.

We will process your data ourselves or by use of our affiliated companies or service providers who act on our behalf. 

In order to deliver your order items, your contact information, order number and delivery number will be encrypted and transferred to Delhivery Private Limited. For more details on how the providers process your personal data, please read their privacy policy.

In order to ensure your payment successfully, your contact information, account data and order data will be encrypted and transferred to HDFC Bank Limited.

Please be aware that we have signed a data protection agreement with the aforementioned service provider(s) and they will provide protection for your data at a standard that is no less than ours. Otherwise, we will only share your data when required in response to a legal process or request from a competent authority according to applicable laws.

Since we operate internationally, your personal data may be processed in different countries/regions. If we transfer your personal data to another country/region that may not maintain appropriate data protection standards, we will take all reasonable measures to make sure your personal data is processed safely and as stipulated within these Terms.

You have various rights with respect to the data which we hold about you.
